The Rural Programs provide free counseling to survivors of domestic violence as well as friends and family who may be affected. Sunrise offers counseling and advocacy services through Outreach for survivors living in rural areas of Pasco County who may not otherwise be able to access services. The Rural Programs provide services to the underserved populations focusing on immigrant survivors, men, Deaf or Hard of Hearing, LGBTQIA+, and Later in Life survivors.

 

Sunrise has Rural Advocates who are available to assist survivors and provide these services through individual appointments. These advocates also facilitate adult support groups.
