Economic Empowerment

The Economic Empowerment Program focuses on services to support survivors of domestic violence in becoming financially independent. We focus on different aspects of financial stability. The following services are offered: resume and cover letter building, job readiness skills, creating a budget, banking and savings options, understanding credit, financial advocacy and understanding financial abuse.

Sunrise has an Economic Empowerment Advocate that is available to assist survivors and provide these services through individual appointments. The advocate also facilitates adult groups/workshops centered towards financial literacy.
