Training is required, free, and is available several times a year.

For the Legal Advocacy roles, no prior legal experience is required, but extensive training is provided and required.

Development and Volunteer Coordinator

Full Time

Supports efforts of coordination, promotion and implementation of activities that will lead to the acquisition of financial and other resources to support the ongoing operation and growth of Sunrise and its programs. Responsible for the management and coordination of volunteers and interns.

Shelter Advocate

Full Time

Provides crisis intervention and advocacy and empowerment for survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault within the shelter.

Bilingual Shelter Advocate

Full Time

Provides advocacy and crisis intervention for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in our emergency shelter for those who speak languages other than English.
