Sunrise of Pasco Announces Giving Tuesday Now Fundraiser

Assault Center in Pasco County, has announced that they will be hosting a virtual event on Tuesday, May 5th, 2020. This Giving Tuesday Now online initiative is a global day of giving that encourages communities to stand together and take action to help and heal by providing support to local charities in need during this 24-hour period.

During this pandemic, data has revealed abuse is on the rise. This normally occurs when families spend more time together such as on holidays, but this long-term lock down is causing crisis calls to skyrocket. Sunrise of Pasco has been here for nearly 40 years and is ready to help!

Community members are being asked to unite on behalf of our survivors even while practicing physical distancing. Your contribution on Tuesday, May 5th will assist us with various services both inside the shelter as well as our new creative outreach practices so we can assist survivors. Every act of generosity counts on this day and there are several ways to give such as at www.sunrisepasco.org/donation.
