Denim Day next week!

Thanks to ABC Action News and Lissette Campos for highlighting Sunrise of Pasco and the upcoming Denim Day on April 25th on her segment, Positively Tampa Bay. "Denim Day" is about way more than wearing blue jeans! Advocates explain the roots of this national protest against misconceptions surrounding sexual assault and consent. Painting with a Purpose Success!

Sunrise of Pasco, in partnership with Painting with a Twist, in Wesley Chapel, hosted a painting party on Sunday, April 15th in honor of SAAM - Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Not only did participants learn about Sunrise but were able to support Sunrise programs and services while creating a wonderful painting to hang on their walls which will always remind them about their experience. With a group of over 20 willing artists painted, raffles were won, games were played, and food, provided by another community partner, Beef O'Bradys, was consumed. Color Me Abstract Holding 2nd Annual Field Day benefiting Sunrise and Bright Hopes

Get your competitive spirit on and join Color Me Abstract for their second annual family field day. We will have classic events such as sack races, relay races, and much more. This event is FREE and fun for the whole family! They will be collecting bedding, canned foods, and toiletries to donate to our shelter during the event.

Support our Girls!

Come on by the New Port Richey Library and support the girls of PACE! They have decorated jeans for SAAM and will have them on display at the library in honor of Denim Day which is a nationally recognized day of support for those who are survivors of sexual assault. There will be music, special speakers, community resource providers and some light refreshments. The show begins at 6:30 pm on April 19th and all are welcome to join us for this free awareness event.
