About The Event

The COVID-19 pandemic has left Tampa Bay's Domestic Violence Centers to answer an uncomfortable question: How do you handle an increase in the need for domestic violence services while experiencing an overall decrease in cash donations? The answer for CASA, The Spring, and Sunrise was simple: get creative and collaborate!

When HundredX, a technology company that provides feedback on the country's top businesses and brands, approached Sunrise of Pasco CEO Kelly Sinn to participate in their Express Feedback for Good Program, she immediately brought the opportunity to her peers at CASA and The Spring.

"Express Feedback for Good is a simple way for volunteers to help survivors from the comfort and safety of their home," said Kelly Sinn, CEO, Sunrise of Pasco. "Our three centers often partner to serve survivors of domestic violence, so sharing this virtual fundraising opportunity is just another way for us to broaden our impact during a time when we could all use the extra support."

The Express Feedback for Good program allows the Domestic Violence Centers to turn survey feedback into cash to support their services. February 1 through March 2, each time you share a brand opinion, $2 will go to one of the three centers. Each volunteer can create up to $150 in cash donations by filling out up to 75 surveys.

"Since the onset of COVID-19, our frontline team members have continued to work tirelessly to handle the significant increase in requests for our domestic violence services," said Lariana Forsythe, CASA's CEO. "In December alone, CASA saw a 59% increase in calls to our 24-hour hotline. "

"Through the brilliant simplicity of HundredX's Express Feedback for Good program, we plan to raise – in the heart of Tampa Bay – over $100,000 to provide life-saving and life-changing services to survivors of domestic violence and their children," said Mindy Murphy, CEO, The Spring of Tampa Bay. "The partnership between The Spring, CASA, and Sunrise to virtually mobilize our communities to do collective good is another example of our innovative and collaborative approach to ending domestic violence – one survivor at a time, and one supporter at a time."

The three centers are also partnering in the month of February for Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month by hosting a series of trainings. More information can be found on their websites.
